Bug preventing users from adding RieselSieve
to an existing sig fixed.

Proteins@Home has been added. 
Also, starting earlier today, stats
updates will be run twice per day. At some point it may be increased
to 4 times per day - baby steps first, though. Last, I think I
may have discovered why images seem to cache for some people,
but not for others. More info to follow.

BOINC projects are now set to use Project
ID instead of Username, which should help for those that aren't
using a unique username. It should also help if you use a longer
username (previously it was set to accept ~30 letters/numbers).

Do you see something like this in your
stats?
Most of the time, this happens due to
incorrect username input - so if you see it, make sure you check
that you have entered the correct username. (the warning that
used to display due to incorrect username seems to have disappeared
- I'll place adding a warning on my to-do list so that there is
less confusion) In the meantime, Docking@Home
has been added to the stats list, and Cuboids
should be available by the end of the day (working out the last
few details). Added: Cuboids finished as well...let me know if
you have trouble with either.

I've moved some of the database to a different
server (it was getting so large from storing all the stats, that
it slowed update times down tremendously). So, I didn't get to
some of the stuff I was thinking of doing this weekend for it,
though I will get things added gradually.

Grid stat server seems to be broken, as
a result grid stat images here will display blank spaces where
there should be text - for example...
Things should be back to normal
once Grid fixes things on their end... At some point in the future,
I will try to modify my code so that everyone's Grid stats don't
get filled in with blanks when Grid server decides to randomly
die.

A bunch more projects added. Again, they
aren't thoroughly tested, so let me know if you come across errors.
Freshly added: D2Ol, EON, Majestic-12, Muon1, and RieselSieve(both
LLR and Sieve). A test image with the added projects:
Addendum: I removed some statbars that appeared
as if the user started them, but didn't finish inputting information
(attempting to keep the update process efficient by removing redundant
bars). Hopefully I didn't remove any that were actually in use
- I doubt I did as those I removed hadn't gotten to the point
of actually generating the image yet, but I figured I'd post a
note just in case.

HashClash has been added (not sure how
it got missed when I added the other BOINC projects, but it's
there now). A few more should hopefully be added over the next
day. Next weekend, I will probably be playing server shift - moving
the site to a new home. The create/edit forms, and possibly the
forum, will be down during that time, though everything else should
transfer over seamlessly. The transfer should only take a couple
hours.

For those of you that read this - if you
have trouble creating a statbar - such as receiving a blackbox
without stats - please let me know(post in the forum). A common
cause of this is simply a typo in username, but if you still have
trouble after checking the username, let me know which project
is giving you trouble, as it could easily be an error missed on
my part as well.
A general update - I recently signed
away about 12 hours of my life from Monday to Friday, so I have
less time during the week to work on this. I will however do what
I can when I get time on the weekends. Just wanted people to know
that there was a reason for the slowdown - look forward to a few
more project additions this weekend if all goes well!
On another note - does anyone has feedback
on page/image/site loading times - do they load slow, fast? Does
the server go down often? As a result of being away more often,
I can't pay as much attention to this, so I thought I'd open it
up for feedback, as my renewal for hosting is coming soon.

Squished a few bugs that were causing
errors when adding Project Neuron, RieselSieve(BOINC) and RCN
stats to sig. Feel free to let me know if I missed any other errors.

Working on some preliminary odds and ends
to prepare for adding a few more projects to dcStat. One other
change you may notice, is the ads are gone. I came to the conclusion
that it'll be years before I see a cent of what comes in from
the ads, so I figured it wasn't worth it. Instead, there are now
links to a donate page for those that would like to help cover
costs.

There were a couple bugs that have just
been patched - Folding@Home wasn't retreiving stats correctly,
and a few of the projects were pretending to be a different project.
Tweaked both of them, now...things should hopefully work better
now.

Create/Edit forms are back up and running.
Things seem to be working, but I'm sure there's some bugs bound
to be discovered somewhere along the way that I've missed. If
you come across any, please let me know, either at the DC
Zone, or in the forum here (see link at top of page), or any
other forums I randomly happen to lurk about at. Thanks!
Added projects: BBC Climate Change, PrimeGrid,
Project Neuron, Rectilinear Crossing No, RieselSieve BOINC, World
Community Grid BOINC, and XtremLab.
I've also added this
page that will allow you to view all of the current statbars
at once.
ADDED: Folding@Home - small bug in stats retrieval
at the moment...I'll try and patch that in the next day or so...

The new add/update forms are just about
finished, they just need a bit of testing. I'll probably work
on adding several of the "pending" projects later today,
and then re-enable the add/update forms again.

I'm currently working on tweaking the
add/update forms. The new changes should make adding more projects
easier. Assuming all goes well, add/update should be back up and
running in a couple days, and hopefully several more projects
added. (see the "Update Statistics" link to the right
for a list of projects that are pending, waiting to be added).
During this time, the add and update forms have been disabled,
however the statbars that already exist will continue updating.

Overall BOINC stats have been removed
from the "Coming Soon" list. The lists are just too
massive to attempt to process and store. (stats for BOINC projects
are stored locally, as I could not find a way to access individual
user stats without accessing everyone elses at the same time)

More statbar goodness coming soon. I'm
currently trying to simplify the add/edit form somewhat. The new
version will allow you to select one layout that will apply to
all projects within the statbar. From there, you will be able
to select the color of each project's stats. It's a small but
somewhat tedious changed based on the way things are currently
setup, however it should cause less confusion in the future.

This should have been part of yesterday's
update, but... My method for gathering Folding@Home stats has
changed - now everyone should be able to get stats, regardless
of team ranking. If you are not on a team, enter 0 for team number.

Grid bug fixed!
Minor bug with Grid sigs has been found
(if you try to include rank, it includes a few extra characters).
I'll put a fix in tonight.
If you're wondering.... "Why do
I see this in my sig?"....
...this is because the easiest way for
me to unclog the database (it had massive amounts of test runs)
was to clear it and start fresh. Apologies for inconveniences
this may cause. I don't forsee it happening again... But with
the clearing of the database, I'm calling this project finished.

to spread the link and tell people to get a statbar.

Added the ability to add and delete
images from the overall statbar. Later tonight I will be clearing
the database out to eliminate extraneous test runs.

Added a bunch of projects and re-enabled
the "add" link. Note that some projects have been tested
very little, so there may be errors I haven't come across yet.
Will wait till I get some feedback to find out if those projects
work as intended.

tested as thoroughly as I'd like, though I'm putting it up now,
and will work out bugs as we go along.
